The problem seems to be with Nouveau drivers.

** Description changed:

I am not able to boot Ubuntu 12.10 (alpha 1 or daily builds) on my main
PC which have Nvidia chips - GTX 470 and GTX 275. After the Ubuntu boot
- screen (with 5 dots) the screen shows black and white stips and system
- doesn't boot.
+ screen the screen shows black and white stips and system doesn't boot.

- I am not able to install or test Ubuntu 12.10.
+ The problem seems with Nouveau driver as if I Alt+Cltr+F1 and then
+ install nvidia-current and then start GDM/LightDM, then I am able to
+ boot into the system.

** Package changed: linux (Ubuntu) => nouveau
