I have looked at the cited reports. 
For sure very frustating to fight against apport-retracing.
That should not be.
I give it a confirmed, but there is one thing I am worried about. 

Apport-retrace tells not about, but can you exclude that it is the
kernel3.6rc5 that make it impossible for apport-retrace to get a
stacktrace? Just a guessing, you known.
