It is actually working with command line, so I think the bug is in
usb_modeswitch and not in the kernel.

But why is it working? Could it be that the modeswitching is started
before the device is ready after it has been inserted? The "-I"switch is
required for it to work. Without "-s 10" it still switches, but it gives
error messages and indicate it failed (but running it again says there
are no switchable devices).
