AMR codecs incorporate several patents and as such should be implemented
as separate restricted formats. I' ve added references about legal and
patent issues of these codecs at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki
/Adaptive_multi-rate_compression

Adding AMR codecs in Ubuntu is a separate issue than making totem work
with them if/when presente and as such it should be filed as a separate
report.

An implemention of AMR codecs as separate libraries is apparently
available at http://www.penguin.cz/~utx/amr and could be used for future
support as a restricted codec, pending licencing information and
restrictions verification.
