This happens when nautilus crashes. Nautilus is run on login, to manage the desktop background. If that process crashes, the quicklist becomes a generic one, and doesn't have the folder bookmarks. Maybe that a crash like that was happening on your system. If this problem is still happening (I just saw this bug, but it's been 6 months), you could test that by opening a nautilus window. The quicklist would show your bookmarks again, even after you close that window.
Since it's been a long time without any more comment, I'm going to mark this bug as incomplete. If you're still experiencing the problem, write again, here. Thanks. ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/958900 Title: quicklist for home folder is not working To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/958900/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
