** Description changed: I am not sure if this is a new bug. It seems widely enough reported when I search Google. I run Ubuntu 12.04 64 bit on a Lenovo T430S with 16gb of RAM. About once a day it crashes - freezing completely. The mouse does not work. No keyboard shortcut works. The cursor stops flashing - a complete freeze. I have the bog-standard graphics card on it. I have tried a clean install (no extras) of Ubuntu it still happens. There is nothing in the system log that helps me. The system log is clean. intel core i5 - 3220m -- - I figure because the system log is clean the only way to find out what - causes this would be to have another computer sign in via SSH and - monitor my system.
