I left my computer running last night downloading some large files so that it would have some internet activity. I shut off the monitor and when I got to my computer it wouldn't respond. It wouldn't wake up and the monitor just said that there was no signal. In the syslog.0 file however it seemed to be recorded the entire evening. I don't know when it went down but it downloaded quite a bit of this large file so it probably didn't shut down until close to morning.
