After installing updates for 12.04 LTS on Sept. 25th 2012 reveal on pressing the edge seems to have been broken. Settings applied previously with ccsm or "system settings"->"appearance"->"Behavior" are not working correctly. Must either presss "alt+F1" to see the launcher or must turn off autohide.
