Please note that tweaking fonts is not the right solution.
We cannot guarantee to fit in a particular size, due to localisations. Some 
languages are naturally longer than others, a lot longer.
I am suspecting this is due to having ubi-partman page options shown with 
images before we get to that page & calculate options for real. Reducing 
visibility only to those that are most likely to always be there (e.g. 
wipe&install and the "something else") reduced the vertical height of the 
start-up page in quantal. SImilar fix needs to be developed for precise (the 
code of the ask page has changed in quantal significantly).
