As a side note, I downloaded the .dsc and the Ubuntu 12.04 source package and notices that the readline62_001 patch found on the GNU Readline FTP site is included in the current build as the patch readline62_001.diff. So, I think it is just a matter of including the readline62_002, readline62_003, and readline62_004 patches also.
Is it enough to just add these to the debian/patches directory and modify the series file also. I am willing to help get this ready to submit to build servers, but don't know the process. Do I need to update the .dsc file. Do I bump the version up to 6.2-9? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1058289 Title: Critical readline6 patch not included To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/readline6/+bug/1058289/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
