Public bug reported:
opening the insert menu creates a clone of that menu which gets appended
to the bottom of insert menu on next opening. the menu keeps growing in
length. it happens with keyboard shortcuts or clicking on the menu
with the mouse under Unity.
unsure if it happens with other use interfaces
