Problems still present on latest kernel, 3.5.0-16-generic. - nomodeset kernel param is necessary to get a boot screen. - xorg.conf must have Device as fbdev or get black screen when X starts. -- However, fbdev gives quite good enough performance for me. - Suspend works but resume is always to black screen (wrong display). -- this last means I cannot use suspend
