When the wireless applet is disconnected from a wireless router that is
password-protected (WPA-2), the wireless authentication window opens.
After approximitely 5 mins, another one opens on top of the first. This
continues, and as the windows take about two minutes to become
responsive, they stack up quickly when you are away for a period of
time.
