This is what stops me from using Kazam...every other aspect of Kazam is
great (except the resizing the region with the mouse is annoying, it
would be 1000x faster with just telling it what resolution you want with
the keyboard).

Ubuntu users who need to record the panel includng the global menu and
such are screwed when using Kazam because even though ALT dragging lets
you move it past the panel you can no longer see where the box ends so
there is no way to get perfect placement of say 1280x720 at x0:y0

These kinds of apps are suppose to make tasks easier...this does the
opposite.

I would be satisified if I could just control it through the Terminal
but I can't do that either...the terminal commands are incredibly
useless so Kazam is an app with AWESOME POTENTIAL but is not ready for
primetime.
