I'm running LTS precise. Per my original report I reproduced the problem with http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.2.27-precise/ but now see that the newest precise kernel at http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/?C=M;O=D is v3.2.30-precise Should try v3.6-quantal or v3.2.30-precise?
