Sorry Radu (?), I think you misunderstand. I expect a mnemonic for each item in the bookmarks menu. If I bookmark e.g. launchpad.net/ubuntu and the description in the bookmark menu is 'Ubuntu in launchpad', I'm used to the situation where I can quickly access it using <alt>B followed by 'U'. And the mnemonic is always the first character of the description. If I have multiple entries starting with U (e.g. 'ubuntu forums' and 'ubuntu in launchpad') I press 'U' till the desired one is selected and press <enter> to load it. If my memory serves me well, any version of Firefox that I have used under WinXP, Win7 and Ubuntu 6.06/8.04/10.04 behaved like this. It's now with Ubuntu 12.04 in combination with Firefox 15.0.1 that this functionality has changed. I will check a standard and up-to-date 10.04 install tomorrow (time permitting) and post back in about 12 hours. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1065167 Title: no mnemonics for items in bookmarks menu To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/firefox/+bug/1065167/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
