Could people please stop misusing this bug report as their personal blog, and at the very least try to be up to date before making comments?
Several of the concerns expressed in the past few comments have been addressed in Cristian Parrino's blog post. Regarding comment #116 by Darxus see the paragraph titled "On improving search quality". Luke in #117, legality is also addressed in the blog post. And what are you talking about "a new user who has yet to learn to use the terminal to remove the shopping lens"? There is a switch in Privacy settings now.
