As requested, see the dmesg.txt file attached, created with the DebuggingKernelSuspend procedure (with 3.5.0.17.19 kernel).
Also, I've tested the latest mainline kernel (3.6.2) and it's even worst, i.e. there's no sound at all after first boot within Unity/Gnome, but there is sound at lightdm stage.. This makes me think that this might not be a kernel bug but rather a Unity/Gnome bug. Should this bug report linked to a different package then? ** Attachment added: "dmesg.txt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1066353/+attachment/3398804/+files/dmesg.txt ** Tags removed: needs-upstream-testing ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1066353 Title: No sound after suspend (Ubuntu 12.10 64bit) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1066353/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
