I have proposed enabled on 2 of my 3 test machines and I let cron handle my updates a few times a day on each so it should.. I didnt see it on my laptop only libmutter and checked my logs so maybe it hasnt hit everywhere yet so I grabbed it off of bazzar and sent it to both machines I have proposed enabled on. I already have the build dependencies for a lot of the software I use so compiling it no prob..
Now when I looked at my laptop it said darkrain@Rain:/etc/apt$ dpkg -l |grep empathy ii empathy 3.6.0.3-0ubuntu1 amd64 GNOME multi-protocol chat and call client ii empathy-common 3.6.0.3-0ubuntu1 all GNOME multi-protocol chat and call client (common files) ii nautilus-sendto-empathy 3.6.0.3-0ubuntu1 amd64 GNOME multi-protocol chat and call client (nautilus-sendto plugin) Is 3.6.0.3 a different branch? Not sure so I compiled it with --prefix=/opt/empathy-3.4.2.3 so I could have a copy of this version along side of the one already installed. Now I have a question. For some reason my debug symbols (empathy- dbgsym) I had before 3.6.0.3 was installed got removed from my system and I had to get to install empathy-dbg instead. Is that other set incompatible with the latest normal release? --- Ubuntu Bug Squad volunteer triager http://wiki.ubuntu.com/BugSquad -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1011019 Title: Error connecting to account manager in empathy To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/empathy/+bug/1011019/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
