Public bug reported: $ cat /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf [SeatDefaults] user-session=ubuntu greeter-session=unity-greeter greeter-show-manual-login=true allow-guest=false
My computer is hooked up to an Active Directory domain via Likewise-Open, and I have no problems logging in with my AD username. If I logout to return to the login screen, then I see my username in the list alongside the local admin user. If I reboot the computer, then I see that my AD username has disappeared from the users list on the login screen, and only the local admin user account is shown.
