I believe bug 1064255 covers the fix for what Albert is mentioning, but I'm not an expert on how webapps and the sound menu integration work behind the scenes.
What I noticed in the duplicate I reported a while back where 2 issues, not sure if they're directly related: - Some webapps remain in the sound menu after closing the corresponding browser window (Youtube, Grooveshark). Others disappear from the sound menu when closed, as expected (Rdio) - When there is one of these "stuck" webapps present in the sound menu, and another webapp starts playing music there, the stuck webapp gets a duplicate of the cover artwork and of the player button state. ** Also affects: indicator-sound (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1029219 Title: YouTube Webapp attaching to Rhythmbox, showing current song info.
