Ok - I have a possible explination of why this problem is not more
widespread.

My Ubuntu 12.10 x64 system, clean install was booting just fine... until
i started to activate the Mobile Broadand (GSM) connection.

The WiFi / Bluetooth is not the source of the problem. Only the
Lenovo's equiped with the optional WWAN modem have the problem!
