Thanks for reporting this bug, and for reporting on the existing report
for the garbled lines bug. The resolution mis-detection bug is well
reported elsewhere, so for this bug let's focus on the DRI
initialization issue.
Can you please attach your /var/log/Xorg.0.log, /etc/X11/xorg.conf, and
output from lspci -vv?
