Here are two workarounds: # Disable remote searches (Amazon, Facebook, Twitter, BBC, etc) from Unity dash gsettings set com.canonical.Unity.Lenses remote-content-search 'none' (Can also be done from "System Settings" -> Privacy and toggle "Include search results" to off.
