This is just ONE of the behaviors I described in this other report: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/1045485
However, with the SIM and ISP I'm using now (the modem is always the same), I'm observing only this one perfectly distinguishible pattern, while with another SIM I observed this and other buggy behaviors confusingly mixed as I described in the other report. I mean, there seem to be a ton of bugs related to having a broadband mobile connection to work; the behavior i describe here looks more like an isolated bug, maybe easier to investigate and fix, while in the other report I probably described the mixed symptoms of various bugs interfering with each other. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1071853 Title: Randomly disconnects from mobile broadband network AND behaves as if USB modem physically disconnected To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/1071853/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
