Waiting for the official fix, you may want to know that there is a workaround which I'm temporarily using to be able to access internet in Gutsy with my Ralink 2500 (I believe this is somewhat similar to post #5 above). You can find the patch that will allow the RT2500 configuration tool package to be used in Gutsy here:
