Public bug reported:

In ubuntu 12.04 I calibrated my monitor using the "color" settings in
control center. I plugged my Datacolor Spyder 3, selected the monitor in
the "color" tool and clicked the "calibrate" button, etc, etc.

Now in ubuntu 12.10 the Calibrate button is grayed and cannot use the
calibration tool. I checked in the terminal if my calibrator is detected
by the system with lsusb and is detected (Colorvision, Inc.).

I don't know if the colord package is the responsible of this but I
think it is, please let me know if I need to provide further
information.
