Public bug reported: When I first started kmail it asked if I wanted to upgrade to the new version that uses akonadi. I said yes and it almost immediately said that it had failed. But that I could try upgrading again from the command line. Kmail started but I do not see any of my mail folders. Looking down into the .kde folder it appears that all my mail folders have been removed. Fortunately those are backed up offline.
I tried interactive upgrade by doing this: larry@rivendell:~$ kmail-migrator --interactive kmail-migrator(5195) main: Migration of kmailrc has already run, not running it again But it won't run.. What can I do to either upgrade or get my mail back without a huge chore of copying files? ** Affects: kdepim (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Package changed: zoneminder (Ubuntu) => kdepim (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1072269 Title: kmail upgrade failed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdepim/+bug/1072269/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
