Any update on this? I have exactly this problem. I haven't had any luck getting a kernel log file when booting from 3.2.0-32 but it boots fine with 3.2.0-23. I reinstalled Ubuntu 12.04 server from scratch and this problem appears immediately upon updating the kernel with apt-get dist-upgrade. My hardware is almost identical: Jetway NF9E-Q77 system board (http://www.jetway.com.tw/jw/ipcboard_view.asp?productid=977&proname=NF9E-Q77) Intel Core i3-2120T CPU
