Hi, I'm having this problem on 12.04 (the latest Mythbuntu). There aren't really more detailed steps that the reporter can give to you, so I don't think that this bug is incomplete.
If I bring up the Ubuntu One setting GUI, there is a screen with a list of folders. As the reporter says, there is a big "Add a folder from this computer" button. I click that and a file open window comes up.
