Hello Christopher, I downloaded 4 deb files for amd64 processors from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.5.6-quantal/ and installed it with $>sudo dpkg -i *.deb. I rebooted successfully 6times but on the 7th times the bootscreen gives the following

Run in low-graphics mode for just one session Reconfigure graphics Troubleshoot the error Exit the console login There was no response from the keypad or mouse so I press the power on/off button for 8 seconds for the hardware to do a hard reset. I am proceeding to do another 10 reboots to see it the problem appeared again. I will updated you shortly. I guessed the 7th reboot surferred from graphics low memory issue. Please advice on what to do next with these observations. Is the case closed? Can I assue the next release of Ubuntu-12.10-desktop-amd64.iso will have this bootup issue resolved?
