I attempted to build Blender trunk using python3.3-dev but got the
following error:

/usr/include/python3.3m/Python.h:8:22: fatal error: pyconfig.h: No such file or
directory
compilation terminated.
Indeed, pyconfig.h is placed in /usr/include/x86_64-linux-gnu/python3.3m on my
64bit system.
Multi-arch support is still incomplete.
