I can't test on kernel 3.7-rc4-raring because dkms build fail on fglrx, so i can't be in ubuntu mainstream configuration to test the bug.
If i revert to open source radeon driver, backlight setting works again on any of the 3 kernels 3.5.0-17, 3.6.5 or 3.7-rc4.
