I use gnome, it's a weird bug, and it only starting recently. I don't know what could have triggered it. I was messing around with DVD playback and it's around that time that it started... I don't know if it's at all correlated. Another thing I noticed (even if a window is not fully maximized, but stretched almost to the max) when you mouseover over the max, min, close buttons, you would get a wrong tag. For instance, I mouseover the maximize button and the "close" tag comes up. So the whole thing is somehow shifted. Weird....
