Public bug reported:

The xpra package in Ubuntu (Precise) is missing its icons in
/usr/share/xpra/icons. These icons are found in the original package
xpra-0.0.7.36.tar.xz, but it seems that due to a packaging error, they
are not included in the installed package. As a result, its tray icon
(shown when connected to a remote xpra server) appears transparent.
