#LUCID: CS-15 with updated firmware (http://europe.nokia.com/support/product-support/internet-stick-cs-15-support/software ---> Nokia_CS-15_Setup.exe CS-15_R2.10.2) works in current Lucid Lynx 10.04 (2.6.32-45-generic #99-Ubuntu SMP Tue Oct 16 16:31:11 UTC 2012 i686 GNU/Linux) somehow but is unstable. See below an attached updated_CS-15_unstable_in_Lucid.txt.
On the other hand, the unupdated CS-15 (firmware version .62.40) was once connected but almost immediately it was completely disregarded, i.e. it was not shown up in lsusb anymore, also after several trials of unpluging and pluging. Although, in a same session, where the updated CS-15 was first used, plugged out and after a while the unupdated CS-15 was plugged in a connection was established for about five seconds but then the unupdated CS-15 completely malfunctioned ("Received bad configure-nak: 02 06 00 2d 0f 01 81 06 00 00 00 00 83 06 00 00 00 00"). ** Attachment added: "updated_CS-15_works_in_Lucid.txt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/496256/+attachment/3431225/+files/updated_CS-15_works_in_Lucid.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/496256 Title: Nokia CS-15 USB modem does not work anymore and can not be installed in Karmic, Natty, Precise depending on firmware To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/496256/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
