Strange: xapian search return neon27.* for a search for neon, but it doesn't return any results when searching for neon27 neither in software-center, nor in synaptic. The strange thing is that ac100 returns ac100.* packages. Anyway, I am moving this bug from synaptic to xapian, as this affects both software-center and synaptic, and both of these use the xapian index to look for results matching the search criteria.
