*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 903422 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/903422
Confirmed with 12.10, newest update. mtp-files, mtp-folders, mtp-detect take abnormally long to work, and you can't browse anywhere in the GUI itself, as the device just times out. gmtp also takes forever, and times out/errors out or produces garbage before disconnecting. Can we get some traction on this, seeing as many people are running into this snag (this was brought to my attention by a co-worker who's just trying Ubuntu for the first time). This is affecting real people, and it is a dealbreaker for him. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/986722 Title: Can't browse MTP device starting with Android 4 (e.g. Galaxy Nexus) with gmtp To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/libmtp/+bug/986722/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
