Public bug reported: In Gnome when I right click on an ISO and Open with Brasero to burn I noticed that even with a successfully burn there was always a process left running. So next time you try to Right Click Burn nothing will happen. This was true for the last couple versions of Ubuntu. Although on 12.04 the CD also did not eject correctly on finishing.
For me the following fix worked. Basically calling brasero needs the "-i" switch. # diff brasero.desktop /tmp/brasero.desktop 7c7 < Exec=brasero -i %U --- > Exec=brasero %U I found some information at these two locations: https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2158 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=771012 Ubuntu 12.10 64-bit with brasero Version: 3.4.1-0ubuntu3. ** Affects: brasero (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1078928 Title: brasero leaves process running To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/brasero/+bug/1078928/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
