Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
I can confirm that there is no dependency on lua, and this applies to Debian as well, except for some less common architectures (http://packages.debian.org/sid/elinks). So it does look likely to me that there is some issue at build time. I tried rebuilding with after a ./autogen.sh, but this didn't seem to help. But either way, it looks likely that if this issue is valid then it affects Debian as well, so it would be best fixed in Debian, and then Ubuntu will pick it up on the next merge. Would you mind verifying the Debian case, and if it is affected then could you file a bug with Debian please? ** Changed in: elinks (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1072221 Title: ELinks built without lua support To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/elinks/+bug/1072221/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
