Public bug reported:

1.
Ubuntu DTS (movie) sound (trough Alsa or Pulse) at low frequencies are severely
distorted.
This problem has persisted for several Ubuntu releases. (win7 does not have
this problem).

2.
I have an Asus Xonar Essence STX (pci-e) sound card/headphone amp. In ubuntu
10.10 it was possible to adjust the impedance level of the headphones in the
preferred mixer application (i.e. Gnome-Alsa mixer). This very, very important
adjustment option have for reasons unknown been removed after Ubuntu 10.10.

Is it possible to get this feature back?
