I can verify that this problem still exists. I have tried Ubuntu
10.04.4, 12.04.1, and 12.11 with updates up to today with kernel
3.5.0-19-generic. The computer will suspend without a problem, but when
resuming the power light will switch from yellow to blue, the DVD drive
will blink and spin, the HDD light will come on for a few seconds, but
the keyboard, mouse, and monitor are unresponsive.

I tried installing kernel 3.6.6 and then the computer will not boot past
grub.

I have also tried Fedora 17 with the same results.

** Also affects: linux (Fedora)
   Importance: Undecided
       Status: New
