Public bug reported: Enabling auto log-in for a user causes a ubuntu unity session to be started when the operating system is booted. The session has a "Log Out..." item on the pull-down menu item in the upper right corner. When this command is used, the session is logged out, but there is no subsequent auto log-in.
Consequently, remote access by VNC (vinagre/vino) ceases. This problem has been around for several releases, but is definately present for the one below: lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS Release: 12.04 ** Affects: unity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1080107 Title: auto log-in doesn't function after logout To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/1080107/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
