I switched my mentality: don't accept cookies, unless required. By using https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/cookie-controller/ , I'm able place easy accessible buttons which allow me to a) enable it for session only or persistently and b) easily allows me removing site- specific or all session cookies. I don't operate on Dialogs with this add-on but only on the icons in my toolbar. YMMV.
