Public bug reported: On my Asus Zenbook UX32V (Intel HD4000) I experience 16bit colours/banding on the internal LCD panel. The external monitor works fine (no banding is to be seen).
This happens on at least: linux-image-3.5.0-19-generic linux-image-3.5.0-18-generic linux-image-3.5.0-17-generic and not on linux-image-3.5.0-10-generic Others were not tested as I reinstalled my system.
