Could whoever came with the X-Unity-IconBackgroundColor idea give
details on:

- where it was discussed

- why is it needed (is the current algorythm not good enough, can we fix
that)?

- what number of .desktop you envision to see patched this way?


Did you consider that hardcoding a color probably works with a specific icon, 
what if somebody changes the icon theme from the default one? That would 
probably make the color wrong...
