It is a bug, i believe- duplicate of 1068661, or at least I think the other bug will also happen, I tried to upgrade to the fglrx drivers because of this- there is some serious overheating too. I ended up using my intel 3000 instead, Now I haven't the foggies idea how to return, and the fglrx still doesn't work, it's been months...
