Now I tried again with just updated 3.4.1-0ubuntu1.1: Burning took ~ 10 min. at 4x --> successful And yes, after, a checksum test was executed automatically. (So sorry about the noise, because I didn't find a hook to enable it. Anyway it would be nice to have a choice for full compare) I could boot PartedMagic successfully.
