No it was live usb and from virtual box in ubuntu 10.04 and in virtualbox settings enabled for clipboard and file sharing across virtual/real os and that makes one restricted extra to install and if i had this option off then menu was working. I can reproduce this easy 2 times already reproduced and 2 times couldnt and 2 times with sharing and clipboard off then all fine.
