Does not freeze upon opening the export page, but upon choosing 'save' and choosing 'yes' or 'no' to the question if you'd like to store the whole profile or only your diff. (I don't know if that was the original bug post reason.) (But the bug this is marked as a dupe of doesn't seem to mention this.)
